A very entertaining Peking Opera Show titled xu2 jiu3 jing1 (Hsu Ju Jin's Official Promotion) was successfully staged in Oakland's Asian Cultural Centrer on January 25, 1998 and again on March 22, 1998. This show will be repeated in Vancouver, May 1998. The play was sponsored by Chinese Peking Opera Art Society in California. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chinese Peking Opera Theater in Beijing will be performing for nine days in Taipei starting June 23 until July 1, 1998.
