It is inconceivable that this piece composed in the
fourth century B.C. by someone not very well known and
could be very popular today, that it could be found in
twelve books of compilations. It also could be traced in
the history of ku-ch 'in, as written in various books· The
poem of Mo Do Tzu,6 revealing his wish to have a wife,
was reflected by the flying pheasants.
