| The Zhao Kwan Pass During the period of the Warring States, dcspotic ruler Ping Wang of the kingdom ofTso had posted a reward for the capture of re-formed minded General Woo Yuan who was understood to be fleeing to the neighbouring State of Wu to seek military help to avenge for the expermination ofall his family members by the hands of ping Wang and to bring an end to the emperors tyrmmy. Approaching the heavily guarded pass of Zhao Kwan which is the only narrow path leading to Wu territory. Woo Yuan was fortunate to secure the assistance of Tung Kao-kung, a retired official who gave him temporary shelter and promised to devise a way for him to evade the Sentry. Meanwhile, Woo was under such stress on the eye of crossing that his hair and beard all of a sudden turned greyish white overnight. This unexpected change of his features in contrast to that as appeared on the Poster actually worked to his advantage, so as to enable him to make a successful exit without detection. |
